More Young and Beautiful Hearts – the INCOVAR

The INCOVARians invited me to speak at their camp on 14th June 2009. It’s always such a joy (and a challenge!) to speak to youngsters.

Of course I took the opportunity to tell them about AnimalCare towards the end of the talk. They were very receptive to the idea and offered their help and support. Thanks – I’m looking forward to these young and dynamic kids joining us in our events.

One of the participants, Max (and a few friends), had taken the initiative of designing and producing postcards to raise funds for the Ketam dogs. Isn’t that heart-warming? Trust these youngsters to do what’s right and beautiful.

Our hope lies in the young.

After my session, the D2Y choir came. Oh, yippee!! I LOVE the D2Y choir! They sung four songs, and I was absolutely enchanted by their rendition of Kermit the Frog’s Rainbow Connection. They also dedicated one song to me – Take these Wings. Aww….isn’t that sweet?

I wrote to Aaron a few days later, and requested that the D2Y sing these two songs at my wake when I die. Who knows….I might be able to hear them…and I’m sure I would enjoy them!

Life is uncertain, death is certain. At least I’ve booked a choir for my wake now.

Remember Aaron – you promised!
Someday we’ll find it,
The Rainbow Connection,
The lovers, the dreamers and me….
