An invitation to share in the reprinting of “See You at Rainbow Bridge”

Lately, there has been many email requests as well as enquiries at our booths for the book, “See You at Rainbow Bridge”. Since this is my thickest book and it is in colour, we only printed 2460 copies the first round, which was in Dec 2010. Since then, the book has been widely distributed and as of today, I only have 5 copies left!

A synopsis of the book:

Love Never Dies

For every living being who comes into our lives, one thing is for certain – whether by voluntary separation or death, parting is inevitable.  In See You at Rainbow Bridge, Chan Kah Yein shares with us how she coped with an adult feral cat who was nursed back to life by her and finally chose to run away and be free again.  Kah Yein also relates the last days of the lives of three animals, a pygmy cat, a 13-year-old Pomeranian and a stray dog dying of distemper, and how she did her utmost to help them pass away with dignity and lots of love.  She talks about how much joy a little rescued kitten brought into her household, and how the kitten was taken away very suddenly.  Kah Yein hopes that her sharing would prepare us better when we need to face loss and death in life.

The e-book is also available for free download at www.tiny.cc/paws.

Our reading society has not gone totally “e” yet, so the hardcopy is still needed.

We are arranging for a reprint of this book, and the quotes for the reprint are as follows:

For 1000 copies – RM4.60 each
For 2000 copies – RM3.80 each
For 3000 copies – RM3.50 each

The minimum number of copies for a reprint is 1000, which means we hope to raise at least RM4600, failing which we will top it up from our Education Fund.

To start the ball rolling, we already have three donors: Faizati Md Ali, Mong Kwai Chee and another donor who wishes to remain anonymous. (Please see below for updated list of donors.)

If you would like to contribute to this reprint, kindly bank in your donation to:

Public Bank Bhd 3168194929
(AnimalCare Society Petaling Selangor)

Please follow-up with an email to chankahyein@gmail.com stating the amount, name of donor and mode of transaction (cash/cheque/internet banking (from which bank)).

The names of all donors/sponsors will be printed in the donor list.

No amount is too small and none too big, when it comes from the heart!

The closing date for the collection of funds is this Friday, 25th May 2012.

You may request for the hardcopies of any of my books, but please reimburse us for postage.

This project comes under our Education Fund.

Help us spread the message of kindness to animals.

Thank you.
