Medical subsidy for jaw-fractured cat (Lisa Teo Yoke Ching’s)

We have subsidised RM225 for the medical bill of this cat. The cat underwent surgery for jaw fracture repair and is now doing well.

Dear Dr. Chan,
I would like to apply for a medical subsidy for this rescued cat. This stray was involved in an accident and treated by the vet since 13 Sep 2012.
These strays are from my neighbourhood at Putra Heights. My son found this one with a broken jaw (accident),behind our house.
Your kind consideration and assistance is very much appreciated.
Thanking you in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Lisa Teo

The vet had to perform surgery to fix the injury by inserting a wire to hold the bottom jaw together. Since discharged, I have been keeping it at my home as it needs to be given medication and fed soft food before the vet can remove the wire (scheduled for 22 October. I have also requested the vet to castrate it then). My daughter, Farah was taking care of it while I was away. It is recovering well;but still lots of drooling.

RM225 for jaw fractured repair is very decent compare to what I paid the last time for Wangzhi which is about RM800

BK, our subsidy is 50%, so it’s double of that. Still decent, I suppose.
