There is a missing “it” in the last sentence of the Heidi run free poster.

  • Chen

Oh! I was reading it as “How beautiful a day it is when kindness touches it.”
and you are reading it as “How beautiful a day is when kindness touches it.”

  • Chen

Dunno. It takes an expert grammarian to explain the hows and whys of the language. Looks right either way.

Anyway, it’s a good poster – Heidi looks really happy.

Some examples: “How wonderful my life IS when you are in it.” or “How beautiful the mat IS with all those beads woven into it.” Maybe Maneki Neko can help us here!! She’s a cat but she knows the intricate workings of the English Language grammar!

I got a double mention … am double honoured! 😀

LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture of Heidi 😀

Ha ha…you donated twice, right? Actually, you’ve given me a good idea, I SHOULD mention twice the names of those who donate twice, or thrice, or four times! Normally, I would delete and leave just one (I forgot to delete yours today…ha ha ha).

thought so. it Heidi running in the last pic. looks so longing to be with u.

  • Maneki Neko

Hello! Either of these two sentences would be correct (and the first one is the way KY has written in on Heidi’s photo):

    a. How beautiful a day is when kindness touches it OR
    b. What a beautiful day it is when kindness touches it.

And I agree! Kindness makes every day so much better. 🙂

    Hi Maneki Neko!

    Correct, correct, correct!
