Look at Bobby now (3-legged cat) (from the kind adopter)!

It was in December 2013 that a rescuer found this elderly (almost toothless) male cat with irreparable nerve damage in his front leg. The rescuer brought the cat to the vet and asked if anyone could take the cat. If not, she would opt to have the cat put down as she herself could not take in another cat.

The vet called us and asked if we could help look for an adopter. If we could, the vet will amputate his leg (to save his life) and get him neutered as well.

We blogged and a kind-hearted adopter responded.

This morning, the adopter sent these latest photos.

Bobby (that’s the name of the cat now) is thriving and living very happily in his forever home with a lovely garden for him to run and play. Yes, on his three legs!

According to the adopter, Bobby is quite “fierce” too! And even bullies other cats, at times.

Despite having only three legs and being elderly, he is very confident now.

bob1With sunshine and lots of tender loving care, what more can a cat ask for?

We cannot thank the adopter enough for taking in Bobby. Sometimes, miracles do happen…when we try hard enough.

Please do remember that there are still many kind-hearted people out there, we just have to look harder…we will find them!
