Hi Dr Chan,A stray mothercat recently gave birth to 5 kittens in a storeroom of a restaurant. FIY, the restaurant owner is my family member. He was kind enough to let the mothercat & her kittens stayed temporarily inside its store room. Everything was fine until the mothercat started to climb on tables while customers are eating (despite being fed regularly by the restaurant owner on daily basis). Because of this, the whole straycat family had been forced to move out from the store room.I wanted to foster the straycat family but I already have 7 cats (all rescued and now adopted), my hands are full and most importantly, my intention was not approved by the rest of family members.

They are now put in a cage outside the restaurant. I feed and clean their place everyday but I feel that they should be put in a much better place. In fact, they deserve a good home. The mothercat had been dewormed and also given the birth planning injection (which the vet says will remain effective for up to 6months) so once in a while, I let the mothercat roam free (outside the cage).

The kittens are now about 3-weeks old (3 white, 1 tabby and 1 tortoise). All of them have started to feed on wetfood, except one kitten. They have also started using the litterbox . I hardly recognise the sex of the kittens but if adopted, I am willing to pay for their spaying/neutering cost (including the mothercat).Dr Chan, please..please help to post this. Potential adopters (JB area) can contact me (Syahida Yep) via this no: 019-7589575 ( sms/whatsapp before calling is much appreciated).Thank you so much Dr Chan.I wish that these kittens and its mother find a good caring adopter soon.Attached is the pictures of the straycat family.

We have suggested to Syahida to get the mother-cat spayed instead of giving her birth planning injections.

Thank you for the reminder Dr Chan, the mother-cat will be spayed when she is ready.
