Pepper the Cat delivers safely! (Rani and Jerusha’s)

Jerusha Emmanuel and her sister, Jethra Evangeline, became cat-feeders, paving and leading the way for their parents (!) after reading my books. Of course kudos to mum, Rani Jarjan, too, for her guidance!

On the left, the girls with their father. On the right, the girls with their mother, Rani (at the back). Recently, the girls rescued a mother-cat, whom they called Pepper. Pepper was already pregnant so they brought Pepper into their home to let her have a safe delivery. Rani and the girls visited our booth on Wesak and said they will be adopting Pepper (later, getting her spayed). As for the kittens, they will probably adopt one too and rehome the rest.

Jerusha and her family also feed the community cats in their area. Kudos to them!

Dear Dr Chan,

Good morning.
Hope you are well.

I am happy to inform you that Pepper has delivered 3 kittens on Friday night.

This is an exciting and happy time for us because this if the first time we are fostering a pregnant cat.

I need your expert advise as I notice Pepper has flea and is it safe if I spray her with frontline flea spray as I am worried that since the kittens are nursing, it might affect them.

I am sharing picture of the happy mum.

Thank you.

Rani Jarjan
