Connie had always thought that Oscar wanted to be a solitary cat. But she thought she’d just try out and see if Oscar was willing to accept Molly (the day we picked up the Ginger family).
On the first day, it was difficult – Oscar and Molly were hissing at each other and Oscar even went on a hunger strike.
By evening, things settled and by that night itself, Oscar was already sleeping next to Molly’s cage! From the second day onwards, they were the best of friends!
Here are some photos:
So while yes, some cats can be difficult (tell me about it, I’ve had Cow and Bunny for 8 years now and Indy for 6 years – they are still uncompr0mising and Tiger and Tabs still live in subordination), but Oscar certainly does not fall into this category!
this is soooo precious !!!!!!!!
These photos are priceless! I remember so well my apprehension before adopting the second cat. It took my two cats 10 days to accept each other, but watching their relationship since then has been pure joy. Connie, thank you for adopting Oscar and Molly and for having the patience to introduce them to each other at their own pace.
Awww ♡ ♡ ♡ such loving and precious photos of two bosom buddies.
True BFF!!
