I was all sweaty after spending hours looking for Rosie so after we found her, I just had to take a bath.
There was a thunderstorm at the time. I knew, but I was careless and proceeded to take a shower.
Within seconds after turning on the shower, there was thunder and in that split second, I saw a spark come out of a hairline gap of the shower and felt a shock in my arm. Automatically, I flung the shower down.
Oh no, another bath blast…again. But this seemed milder than the previous one in 2014.
Second time lucky. I survived it.
This was my first encounter with a bath blast in May 2014:
For about half an hour after that, I felt slight numbness in my right arm and on the right side of my fact.
But I was okay after that.
Hopefully, never again.

Thank goodness you are alright! Hopefully, never again. Gosh!
Oh my. I remember this and the best thing is to join the cats on the couch during a thunderstorm. Any chance of checking the house / electrical set of the shower to avoid this?
Thanks, Jasmine and Yen Ling. I think Subang Jaya is just too prone to lightning strikes. Perhaps we could consider installing a lightning arrestor….
