Potpourri blankets all ready! (fundraising)

We would like to thank Che Khalifa very much for her generous contribution of RM500 for our first two “new generation” potpourri blankets!

The concept now is to use remnant cloth to create blankets so that resources and material are not wasted. Even the tiniest pieces are used. Many of the fabric used was donated by Mr Ooi In Haw for our shopping bag project earlier this year.

A single blanket is approximately 55 in by 75 in and a minimum donation of RM150 would be most appreciated.

If you’d like to order, please contact me at chankahyein@gmail.com. 100% of your donation will go to our Neutering Fund.

What we call chaos is just patterns we haven’t recognized. What we call random is just patterns we can’t decipher! Chaotic can be beautiful too.

There are three types to choose:

  1. Red potpourri (consisting of shades of red, orange, yellow, brown)
  2. Blue potpourri (consisting of shades of blue, green, purple)
  3. Potpourri (all mixed!)

A red one.

And we wish to thank Ms Ooi for her consent in letting us use her lovely soft and cottony cloth as the backing for both blankets.

The backing is done in very soft and fine cotton.

The blue one.

It has a Doeramon backing (also very, very soft cotton).

Below are the two mixed ones. They were done in cat size.

And my helpers…
