Indy’s updates

I wish I had better news, but I don’t.

Indy was able to retain the raw chicken all night without vomiting or passing loose stools. I waited until after midnight and kept checking.

This morning, I found a few patches of small soft stools. I guess his intake is little, so the stools would be less too.

We carried on with the raw chicken fillet small meals throughout the day. There was blood-tinged soft stools at 12.30pm today. He is still on Slippery Elm which is supposed to help with mucus and blood in the stools. He is also still on the S.Boulardii probiotic.

Maybe we have to give it a few more days to see results, if any.

I know Indy is hungry and wishes he could eat more at one go, but I’m still giving him small meals. One meal would be divided into 3 small meals, spread over 2 hours.

He is able to take long naps without getting up to go to the sandpit, so I guess that’s good.

This is the sandpit. I check for stools every half hour or so whenever I am home. It’s become a daily affair now and my heart drops whenever I see loose stools at Indy’s spot.

Having a small meal of raw chicken fillet.

Raw chicken fillet isn’t balanced and this is only a temporary measure to hopefully let his intestines heal.

We will take it one day at a time.

Judging from this afternoon’s stools, there is no improvement yet.
