Mun Mun Furry Sanctuary is located in Selangor and is home to more than 200 dogs and 80 cats. It is a self-funded shelter, run by Mr Ng Foo Mun and 2 helpers. Mun Mun does his very best to help, especially injured and disabled animals and has adopted a few whom we published for adoption. He also feeds many dogs outside his shelter.

Here’s his latest stories:

During MCO someone dumped 3 female dogs below my shelter and 1 of them was pregnant. She give birth to 7 puppies inside the jungle.😓 Few days back as I was going down to feed them i heard puppies cry. Went in to check and saw 7 of them eyes already open. My shelter quarantine kennel is full best i can do is feed mother dog with protein food. Mother dog is putting on weight now. Hopefully when puppies grow bigger will vaccinate and bring them in.

The mother dog, Mona.

The newborn puppies.

Another dog outside, Mina.

Twice a day I go over to the nearby kampung grocery shop to collect chicken head and other body parts mixed together with waste throw away by the shop. Clean it up cooked and mixed with shelter rice. At times can collect big pot of meat and can feed many hungry stomachs.

Why waste the food where I can feed many hungry stomachs. It looks disgusting with all kinds of rubbish dump together with the meat but after separating from the meat it is clean and strays love it. After all it is free.

The dogs outside the shelter.

Taking Rocky B for a walk outside the shelter.

Doesn’t Mun Mun live in Paradise?  Listen the the insects’ pristine calls….it is Paradise!
