The Greystoke stories

Minnie is locked in with her kittens to prevent her from escaping (just in case there are loopholes which we are not aware of), but she is still let out to do her business under supervision. This means the kittens would still be suckling. Well, between this or her escaping (and getting “raped”), the former is the lesser evil. Moreover, two of the kittens are still not able to eat on their own and they also still need milk. These are two Robin and Rey.

Rio and Lynx can eat Coco&Joe’s as well as Cubgrub on their own. But all of them still want to suck for comfort. Since I have to lock Minnie in more often now, why not give them this once-in-a-lifetime comfort?  After all, they will only get it once in a lifetime.

Lynx and Rio can eat on their own now.

But Rey and Robin still cannot. I have to finger-feed or force-feed them.

Minnie gets all the leftovers. I don’t allow her into the condo cage when the kittens are offered food because she would just “sapu habis” in a wink of an eye.

Smurfy has started a new habit now. He won’t eat unless he gets to “steal” food from the kittens. Sigh…macam-macam.

He will eat as long as the food is not offered to him and meant for someone else. I guess he gets a kick out of this.

All four sleeping now, after dinner.

Mother-son bonding time!

The plan is to get Minnie spayed in two weeks’ time. I’m working towards that and hoping Nature would intervene and help me out. A lot of has to happen for that to happen: (1) Minnie does not escape, (2) Minnie’s milk glands dry up a bit more, (3) The kittens can eat on their own and don’t need milk anymore.

Nature, please intervene and help me!
