Heidi’s ashes were returned to us this morning. We miss her a lot and it is definitely going to take a lot of time to get over this loss. So many things remind us of her and her peculiar and adorable ways. Even though she was a very quiet cat, her absence has now left a deep void in our lives.
Her baskets are empty now and hopefully in time, the kittens will occupy them. I don’t want her baskets to be empty. They should be filled with love, life and joy again.

Tabs has been comforting me. So has Cow. Our elderly cats know whenever I am sad.
