Neutering aid for 1 cat in Johor Bahru (Chin Kwi Moy’s) & Updates

We have provided an aid of RM100 for the neutering of this cat.

The cat also went through a hernia operation which Ms Chin paid for herself.

Ms Chin is not proficient in English or Bahasa Malaysia. The write-up for the application is done by her daughter. But I spoke with her in Cantonese and learnt that she is truly dedicated in caring for these street cats.

In my conversation with Ms Chin, she explained that this black cat was very malnourished when rescued. She is now looking after the cat and ensuring the cat is in better health first. Ms Chin has also decided to adopt this cat. She has rescued many cats prior to this. Kittens are usually rehomed. She has also encountered cats owned by people but not cared for and she tries her best to help such cats too.

This is the cat after the spaying and hernia surgery.

The previous cat is doing fine. Ms Chin says she is eating well and has put on weight too. This is a female cat (please disregard the pronoun “he” in the write-up below).
