Kinta Dog is back in the Ipoh shelter

Mr Lu sent these updates yesterday.

Kinta Dog is now discharged and back in their shelter!

The back story: In November 2022, a lady from Ipoh wrote to ask for help to rescue Kinta Dog whom she thought had TVT. We sent out an alert and also contacted friends to help. Our two friends managed to contact Persatuan Pencinta Haiwan Kinta Perak and they tried for three days to catch Kinta Dog, but to no avail so they finally had to resort to using the tranquiliser dart. Kinta Dog was then sent to their vet and found to have not TVT but a prolapsed uterus. Surgery was performed but the uterus could not be inserted back entirely. The treatment was then to put her on medication to reduce the inflammation and with time, it would subside. Kinta was hospitalised. It’s been two-and-a-half months now and she has fully recovered. Persatuan Pencinta Haiwan Kinta has now taken her back to their shelter for a planned one-month recuperation. She will then be released back to her colony where there is a feeder.
