Goodbye, Milky – you will be remembered (from Survivor Shelter)

Ms Ong visited Milky this morning. Little did she know it would be her last visit.

A few hours after that, the vet called her to inform her that Milky had passed away.

We knew Milky’s condition was not good. He had kidney failure and possibly even IMHA.

Ms Ong informed me through voicemail and was definitely devastated. But she has done her best for Milky despite all the difficulties faced. Yesterday, the vet informed her that Milky’s vet bill had already come up to RM1,050 as of yesterday. We assured her we will help her with the bill since Milky is one of our sponsored furry friend.

Ms Ong also said that she rescued Milky and his entire family many years ago. The whole family had tick fever and only Milky and his mother could be saved. All his siblings passed away. Now, Milky’s mother is still at Survivor Shelter.

Milky was estimated to be more than 7 years old.

You had a good life at the shelter, Milky. You were loved.
