It is now 11.30pm.
Gerald has been quiet all day!!
Except for some whining before dinner and after, which is reasonable, he’s really been quiet.
What sorcery is this, right?
But seriously, aren’t you both glad you have a warm bed to sleep in each night now? No more having to hide in drains or be chased off by unfriendly humans? Or find shelter from thunderstorms? And whenever you are hungry, you could just ask for food and you shall be served? Isn’t this better than living on the street?

We had a few new CCTV cameras fixed this afternoon so the house was in a bit of a chaotic state, but despite all that, Gerald was quiet. Husband was away at work and yet, Gerald was quiet!
