Grey’s 2nd physiotherapy session (from Lee Soo Farng)

This physiotherapy session is covered from the RM700 which we have already paid (for 5 sessions).

The donors are: Donors from Pastorale Charity Concert 2023, an anonymous donor via TnG, Gerald & Misty, Jasmine Ee, Joy Saga, NandaLeonie Hong Siew Lan, Ng Seng Yum, Sharonlin Ooi, Shue Sen, Tong Yut Fun.

We are also pleased to share that Soo Farng has decided to re-donate the RM334.60 balance of the funds collected for Grey back to the AnimalCare Fund so that it can benefit other animals. She has also topped it up with RM65.40 to a total of RM400. Thank you very much, Soo Farng!

As such, the total donations spent on Grey is RM1524.40. Soo Farng says she will take care of Grey’s medical expenses from now on.

Here’s what happened in today’s session, from Soo Farng:

Grey’s Physiotherapy session 2.

Again today I’ve asked for the first session of the day. I see that the Physiotherapist will have a busy day as their appointments on the board is full!

First thing to do before Grey began any treatment is to express his bladder! The assistant did it so patiently to make sure the bladder was really empty. He also managed to squeeze motion out too!

Sydney watched Grey walked and found that he’s still weaker on his left hind leg. So she focused the EMS (Electronis Muscle Stimulator) just on that leg today. While he was on EMS, the assistant used and did the laser treatment at the same time. This is to regenerate new cells.

Next treatment Grey is put on the treadmill to walk. Again attention is given to both his hind legs especially the left. Hopefully he will be able to straighten it and use it normally.

The last treatment is the vibration. This is to stimulate blood circulation.

Grey will undergo these 4 treatments for each of his Physio session. He had been very good and cooperative throughout. Often asking to be stroked on his forehead and neck. He even closed his eyes and seemed to enjoy the process. We were told there were many patients who refused to stay calm hence hindering the treatment.
